International courier service company Venipak warns that scammers have started using the company name for purposes of misleading and scamming people.

The company reports that Venipak Customers Service Office received information from several clients about phishing attempts that used the company’s name on “Facebook marketplace” platform last week.

Referring to the published sales ads, scammers suggested making a purchase and then sending it through Venipak as if from a business customer, but then the buyer received a fraudulent link that lead to a billing platform, where it is necessary to enter bank account details.

Venipak urges residents to be careful and avoid sharing personal information on social networks.
