Most everyone here is familiar with Marc Elias, the premier attorney litigator of voting rights in the U.S., and his website Democracy Docket link here. 

Today, I got a notice from Facebook that something I posted earlier this year was removed “for cybersecurity reasons” and “evidently you were trying to access sensitive information”. I couldn’t even see the link but I had written “When Marc Elias talks, I listen” at the top so I figured it was a link to his website.  Then my Indivisible group co-leader messaged me she got one for a post from last year that linked to Democracy Docket in our private group.  And there you get threatened with FB jail for the whole group!  So,  we went to Democracy Docket on Facebook, and there are multiple posts about people saying they had Facebook Posts removed for cybersecurity reasons if they linked to the Democracy Docket webpage or You Tube Channel.

So on the 4th of July, Facebook is censoring the website of the premiere voting rights attorney in the United States.

What’s up?  Or is this some kind of hack of their algorithms? Could Project 2025 be getting off to an early start on one of their targets?  I’m not proposing this as a conspiracy theory, but it has to cross people’s minds since most of the people are saying they were posts about Project 2025.  Ours wasn’t, it was just a news item about the Senate reintroducing the Freedom to Vote Act last year. 

I couldn’t find any discussions of this other than in FB posts yet so I thought I’d ask here if anyone has any ideas.
