Sarah Jane Woodall, aka Wonderhussy, is an all-American idiot, iconoclast and adventuress with an insatiable curiosity about — and love for — the weird wonders of this wide, wild world.

Having spent 21 years in Vegas selling yo-yos and romping around nekkid for the benefit of photographers, she eventually grew curious as to what’s outside the city limits… and ever since she stumbled on her first abandoned brothel back in 2016, she’s been sharing her adventures on YouTube. Hot springs, ghost towns, lonely desert outposts… she hunts them all down in her quest to discover the secret history of the American West, one strange place at a time.

Now based in a tiny hot spring oasis on the edge of Death Valley, she spends her days roaming the vast emptiness of the Mojave Desert, poking her nose into every abandoned trailer she comes across. If she can’t find the backstory in her research… she’ll gladly come up with her own over-the-top scenario as to what happened to the previous inhabitants of any given ghost town.

She takes nothing too seriously, and she’s not afraid of anything. There’s no mountain too high, no road too rough — and nowhere she’d rather be than the middle of nowhere.•
