Bringing the DJ Set Straight to the Living Room

These living room-friendly parties have existed on YouTube for over a decade, with early channels like Boiler Room helping to establish a now familiar scene: The DJ, behind their equipment, surrounded by eager fans awaiting the beat drop. Today, Boiler Room has hosted more than 3000 live streams on their channel.* Over the years, DJs have taken to new landscapes and settings (even…elevators?). But despite changes in environment, these experiences continue to share a common goal: Bringing emerging talent and underground sounds straight to the audience, wherever they might be.

It’s no surprise that even Coachella tapped into the format for last year’s one-of-a-kind closing set.

Today, as the iconic festival Tomorrowland kicks off in Belgium, we’re celebrating the vibes of a broad range of DJ live sets. Head to YouTube and you’ll find a special version of the YouTube logo (known as the Yoodle), accompanied by a playlist that will keep the dancing going all night long.

We’ve also partnered with DJs around the world to bring you a video with never-before-heard mixes. Click here to start the party.

For those in Germany, stay tuned for a special YouTube collaboration with Brutalismus 3000 on a Liveset production.
