A Fallout fan has come across a promotional Fallout 3 Brotherhood of Steel statue when browsing Facebook Marketplace. Game stores are known for having large displays promoting a franchise, and this Fallout statue may be coveted by new and old fans alike.

Since the first season of the Fallout Amazon Prime Video series was released, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 have blown up in popularity. Given that both games had been out for a while before the series, some long-time fans remained dedicated to them for years, while some lapsed players returned with renewed vigor. As there are many more eyeballs on the Fallout franchise lately, some fans have gotten into collecting merchandise. This includes one gamer finding the Vault Dweller’s survival guide at a thrift store, others finding different versions of the Pip-boy, and some making creations of their own. One fan has discovered a life-sized Fallout 3 promotional Power Armor statue while exploring the Facebook Marketplace.

Reddit user Aroldhinio00 recently shared two screenshots of the Facebook Marketplace featuring a Fallout 3 Power Armor statue. According to the listing, the statue is composed of hollow fiberglass and is being offered for free. The Power Armor also holds a gun that can be removed if a fan prefers a more neutral look for the Fallout Brotherhood of Steel figure. One image shows the statue from the side, which highlights the T-45’s helmet. The other screenshot shows the back of the detailed Power Armor statue where the Power Core would be inserted if it were the real deal. The listing states that only 200 of these figures were made in 2008 when Fallout 3 was released, and they may have decorated GameStop stores to boost hype for the Bethesda title.

Is This Fallout 3 Power Armor Free?

As confirmed by some Facebook Marketplace users, this free listing may not be completely free. Some sellers use the free price to entice prospective buyers to message them, adding a price to the item in response when they’re asked about it. In contrast, huge household pieces like couches or TVs are sometimes listed as free due to the sellers’ inability to transport them. This may be the case with the Fallout Power Armor promotional display given that it’s 7 feet tall and 3 feet wide. As the Reddit user hasn’t confirmed the price, it’s unclear which is the case.

As Bethesda has confirmed that it’s developing Fallout 5, there may be even more impressive promotional items like this to come. While this is a Fallout 3 statue, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 received their own marketing gear that took things a step further. With millions of people using Facebook Marketplace, this Fallout 3 statue may be ideal for some collectors.
