According to Downdetector, a website that monitors the downtime of online services, YouTube experienced multiple outages throughout the day. The website, maintained by Ookla, reported 136 instances of downtime at 15:10 IST and 107 instances at 16:25 IST. These frequent outages have further highlighted the severity of the issue.

The inability to upload videos has significantly impacted content creators, many of whom rely on the platform for their livelihood.
