PORTER MILLS, Texas — On June 18, 2024, the Precinct 2 Animal Cruelty Task Force assisted Constable Ryan Gable, Pct. 3 Constable, Montgomery County, in a search warrant operation.

Upon arrival, investigators discovered nine dogs and one cat living in deplorable conditions within a home. Precinct 2 investigators obtained a seizure warrant and, with the help of Montgomery County Animal Services & Adoption Center, collected the animals. The animals were transported to the shelter for medical care. Precinct 3 filed animal cruelty charges against the resident, along with numerous other unrelated charges.
