Eames Office and Polaroid’s Camera Collaboration Embraces ’70s Geometry

Polaroid and Eames Office have joined forces for a new version of its flagship camera, the Now Generation 2. The collaboration was inspired by Charles and Ray Eames’ 1972 communication campaign for Polaroid’s SX-70 camera, which they called “instrumental to the Polaroid brand’s early success.”

The instant camera comes in Eames’ “Elephant Hide Gray” shade, along with a wrist wrap printed with Eames’ distinct geometric pattern. As for its technical specs, the model features a self-timer, an autofocusing system and double exposure modes.

The Polaroid Now Generation 2 “Eames Edition” is available online now for $129 USD.

Beats x Minecraft Rolled Out Solo 4 Headphones With a Creeper Pixel Print

Beats is celebrating the 15th anniversary of Minecraft with a limited edition pair of the Solo 4. The over-the-ear headphones have received a subtle makeover that sees them covered in a green pixelated print, a reference to the block-like Minecraft world. The interior headband of the Solo 4 also features a discrete graphic of a Creeper.

Each pair of the Solo 4 will come with an exclusive code that unlocks a new character within the Minecraft game, who is also sporting their own pair of Beats Solo 4s.

Elon Musk Said SpaceX and X’s Headquarters Are Moving From California to Texas

Elon Musk has announced he’ll be moving the SpaceX and X headquarters from California to Texas. SpaceX is currently based in Hawthorne, California and will relocate to Starbase, Texas, while X will move from San Francisco to Austin.

The news was brought on by Musk’s criticism of a new law passed by California Governor Gavin Newsom, which forbids schools from requiring teachers to inform parents when a child changes the name or pronouns that they use at school. On X, Musk accused the law of “attacking both families and companies.”
