Yes. I simply let it run hot (updating, CPU-intensive tasks like Benchmarks) for a few hours in a well ventilated room. But my MacBook has a fan so it worked pretty quickly.
At first, the whole room stank like mold but after a day, the MacBook was odour-free. Same for the power supply.
