The exclusive sale, with big bargains on home goods, electronics, kitchen tools and appliances, and hit must-haves, is for Amazon Prime members.
This year, the two-day summer sale is July 16-17, Amazon has announced.

The annual sale, started in 2015 to market Amazon’s 20th anniversary, is only for Amazon Prime members.

Amazon has already announced some of its Amazon Prime Day targets, with steep discounts for brands like Clinique, Allbirds and Kiehl’s. New deals will start every five minutes at some points during the sales event.

How much does Amazon Prime cost?
A standard membership runs $14.99 per month or $139 for a one-year subscription.
Students and those who qualify for government assistance can receive a 50% discount.
What other benefits are there for Prime?
Amazon Prime members get free shipping on most products, including same-day, one-day and two-day delivery. There are exclusive discounts for members and other perks.
