Many people shop on Amazon Resale to find discounted tech products, like headphones and Amazon Fire Sticks, but it’s also a great place to score deals on basic household necessities, like Bounty paper towels or Glad trash bags.

How does Amazon Resale work?

Amazon Resale operates just like the rest of Amazon, including Prime eligibility. The key difference is that every item sold on Amazon Resale undergoes a quality check before being listed. These items are categorized into one of the following conditions: Renewed, Used — Like New, Used — Very Good, Used — Good, and Used — Acceptable.

These are the product condition descriptions, according to the Amazon Resale FAQ page:

• Renewed: This is basically Amazon’s way of saying an item has been refurbished. All of the renewed items in the Amazon Resale have been inspected and tested by Amazon or a performance-managed supplier so it looks like new. Out of all the conditions in Amazon Resale, this is the absolute best one.
• Used – Like New: This item is in perfect working condition, however the original packaging may be missing or have minor damage.
• Used – Very Good: This item is also in good working condition. However, it may show some signs of wear with small scratches, damaged packaging, or missing accessories.
• Used – Good: This item shows some wear and tear, but remains in good working condition. It may have some marks or cosmetic damage and it may arrive with damaged packaging. The item also may be missing some parts and accessories.
• Used – Acceptable: This item is worn but continues to function properly. However, the item may have scratches, dents, worn corners, or damaged packaging. It also may be missing parts, assembly tools, or accessories.

How do I find Amazon Resale?

If you’re on your computer, head to amazon.com and click the dropdown menu labeled “All” at the top left corner. Scroll down and select the row marked “Amazon Outlet.”

Next, you’ll be taken to the Amazon Outlet page. At the top of the page, there will be a horizontal menu with multiple link options. Click on the link that says “Amazon Warehouse.”

If you’re using the Amazon mobile app, click on the dropdown menu at the bottom right of the homepage. Then, select the “Deals & Savings” icon, which will open another dropdown menu. Now, just click on the “Amazon Warehouse” option.
