If you’re looking for a budget TV, Amazon Prime Day is the time to pick up a display for cheap. You can find stunningly low prices on Amazon’s Fire TV lineup, which includes a range of sizes, features, and prices, starting at just $79.99.

Below are the five best deals, all of which include record-low prices. This means we’ve never seen a better deal for the specific models listed.

Any parent who owns a Fire Kids Tablet will be able to tell you how great they are. No, you’re not getting super-fast performance, but they’re rugged, easy to use and have great child-friendly software that ensures they won’t see anything they shouldn’t. Some of the games available on it are even educational.

And of course they’re dirt cheap – especially around Prime Day, when Amazon always cuts the price. You can get the 7in version for £50 and the 8in HD version (which would be my pick) for £65 right now in the UK.

A new record-low for these Sony earbuds

You can never have too many pairs of earbuds, right? They’re so easy to lose. If you want a cheap but well regarded pair this Prime Day, look no further than the Sony WF-C500. 

We called these earbuds ‘great value for money’ in our Sony WF-C500 review – and that was at the full asking price. But at a new record-low price of £40, they’re an absolute steal. 

You get 20 hours of battery life overall, 10 hours from the buds alone, which is fair enough at this price. Plus they’re light and comfortable and provide an exciting, musical sound.

Record low price for Amazon Kindle in the UK 

I said I was on the lookout for a Kindle deal and here it is – the latest version of the standard Kindle on sale for £64, a return to the previous record-low price from over a year ago now. 

This is a rare deal on the Kindle. Sure, this is a basic e-reader compared to some Amazon models, but it still boasts a four-week battery life and space for thousands of books. Given it’s £40 cheaper than the Paperwhite, this is clearly a better pick for the infrequent reader after a more budget-friendly option.

Sticking with the US, here’s a deal you don’t need in the UK right now, given the weather…

The best MacBook Air ever has fallen to a record-low price

You don’t need to wait until midnight PT for US deals to drop though – there are plenty already live.  

Here’s a good one: Apple’s latest 13-inch MacBook Air with the M3 chip is now down to the lowest price ever, beating early Prime Day discounts and every other we tracked. Amazon had dropped the price to just $849, a record $250 price cut.

Why is this a surprise? Well, Apple products don’t often get significant price cuts, especially so soon after they’ve launched, so the ability to get the M3 MacBook Air, one of the best laptops we’ve ever tested, for well under $1,000 is an offer most people should not refuse.

Aside from that, it offers the same raft of security features, such as motion detection, two-way audio, and smartphone app integration.
