Amazon Prime Day is only hours away, and the deals are already funneling in. The two-day sale doesn’t officially start until 12 a.m. PT on July 16, but as you can see below, plenty of great discounts are live already. We’ll be updating this page as promotions go live throughout the event.
Our favorite Prime Day deals include 43% off the Echo Show 8 smart display, 24% off the 16-inch MacBook M3 Pro, and 25% off the 65-inch Roku Pro Series 4K QLED TV. As the event nears, we expect even more great discounts on kitchen appliances, beauty essentials, and smart home gear to crop up.
Prime Day often has the best prices of the year outside Black Friday, which isn’t until late November. If you don’t want to wait that long, this is your best opportunity to save on TVs, laptops, fashion, furniture, home, kitchen, gaming, tech, beauty, and more. We’re paying particularly close attention to products we’ve tested in our buying guides and reviews, and when we spot particularly low prices on them, those are the deals we’re sharing front and center. If we wouldn’t buy it ourselves, we wouldn’t recommend it here.
Prime Day Amazon device deals
Prime Day is always the best time of year to pick up one of Amazon’s own devices, as this is when the prices drop to their year-low points. Before Prime Day officially kicks off, we can see most categories are live already. They don’t go lower once they have early deals at this time, so don’t worry about seeing lower prices tomorrow on the Fire Sticks and Echoes we’ve highlighted below. The Kindles haven’t dropped yet, but going off years of experience, we’d say they’ll come into play at 3 a.m. PT on Tuesday.
As for our highlights so far, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a real bargain, down to $34.99, as it carries all the best apps and runs silky smooth. Combine it with one of the best live TV streaming services, and you can give your old smart TV a new lease of life. The 4K Fire Sticks now support Xbox cloud gaming, too, with no need for an actual Xbox console.
Amazon Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen)
Now with better sound and a faster processor, the latest Echo Show 5 is a tiny smart display that you can use for listening to music, keeping an eye on your home, and more.
Amazon Echo Show 8 (3rd Gen)
The latest version of the Echo Show 8 features improved audio, a built-in smart home hub, a better processor, and a revised design featuring edge-to-edge glass with a centered camera.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2023)
This is Amazon’s top streaming stick. With its powerful processor and GPU, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the fastest streaming device in its price range and now supports console-free Xbox gaming via Game Pass.
Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen)
Amazon’s new fifth-generation Echo Dot offers improved sound quality over previous models, along with a temperature sensor and Eero WiFi extender capabilities.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (2023)
The Fire TV Stick 4K is a good fit for 4K TV owners looking to spend less. It supports a higher resolution than the cheaper Fire TV streaming sticks but lacks the faster processor and extra storage of the 4K Max.

Prime Day Apple deals
Many Apple Prime Day deals are live already, offering substantial discounts across MacBooks and iPads, especially. We’re expecting more AirPods to get involved at some point for better deals than we’re seeing in the runup to the sale itself, so it’ll be worth holding out a bit longer for those.
Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M3 Pro (2023)
The M3 Pro chips on the 16-inch MacBook Pro offer improved performance for intensive tasks like video editing and 3D graphic design, relative to the M2 and M1 generations.

Prime Day TV deals
With plenty of hot new console games coming up over the next few months, the Olympics, and the new football and basketball seasons getting closer, this is a great time to upgrade your TV. There will be a rich selection to choose from, but we’re already seeing a great selection from some of the best brands.
While big brands like Sony, LG, and Samsung will likely have some of their most loved models on sale (like the C3 below), those inky OLED blacks don’t come cheap. That’s why we’ll also be keeping an eye on budget TVs because not everyone needs a blistering 120Hz panel, or maybe you just want something basic for a bedroom. Whatever you’re after, we’ll help you find something over the next two days.
Hisense 85-inch U8N QLED 4K TV
The U8N is Hisense’s 2024 flagship QLED TV. It uses a Mini LED backlight to preserve deep black levels while offering support for up to 3,000 nits of brightness. That’s more than enough to enjoy vivid HDR videos, even in rooms with lots of light.
LG 65-inch C3 OLED 4K TV
The C3 delivers excellent contrast thanks to its OLED Evo panel, and unlike similarly priced Samsung OLED TVs, it supports Dolby Vision.
Roku 65-inch Pro Series 4K QLED TV
Roku’s flagship Pro Series TV is a great all-around 4K QLED. Though similarly priced TCL and Hisense models have an edge in image quality, Roku’s intuitive smart TV interface, handy backlit voice remote, and easy assembly make the Pro Series a worthy competitor.
LG 65-inch C4 OLED 4K TV
The C4 is LG’s latest midrange 4K OLED TV. It carries over everything we loved about last year’s C3 while offering a slight increase in brightness and support for a faster 144Hz refresh rate with a PC.
Amazon 43-inch Omni Series 4K Fire TV
The Omni Series isn’t the best when it comes to picture quality but boasts handy smart TV features like hands-free Alexa support and video calling (camera sold separately), along with the latest Fire TV software.
Insignia 70-inch F30 4K TV
This Insignia TV is about as basic as 4K displays come, but it’s one of the only 70-inch displays that’s regularly sold for under $500. Home theater fans should look elsewhere, but buyers who just want a cheap big-screen TV for casual viewing should be satisfied.
Samsung 65-inch S95C 4K OLED TV
The 2023 S95C is still one of Samsung’s top OLED TVs. It has a sleeker design and a brighter picture than step-down models, but it can’t quite reach the peak brightness of the 2024 S95D. And while it has better black levels in a bright room, it can’t combat reflections as well as the S95D.
Samsung 75-inch QN900C QLED 8K TV
Though the benefits of 8K resolution are hard to see, there’s no denying how incredible the QN900C looks, especially if you get an extra-large model.
Roku 75-inch Pro Series QLED 4K TV
The Roku Pro Series is the brand’s top QLED TV. Competing TCL and Hisense models have a slight edge in image quality, but Roku’s interface, simple backlit voice remote, and easy setup make it an excellent option for buyers who favor smart TV convenience.
